HOT KIZHI / NAVAR KIZHI THERAPY

Pre-treatment self-care

  1. Stay Hydrated - Being well hydrated before your massage is very important for the elimination of toxins that are released into the body’s circulation during treatment. Drinking water or herbal teas are great methods for staying hydrated. Avoid regular tea, coffee, alcohol, or any other stimulants.

  2. Eat Lightly - It is preferable if you do not eat within the hour before your treatment so that you are not digesting food while laying face down. If you are worried you will be hungry, go for something light like a piece of fruit.

  3. Freshen up - however you like, perhaps wash your face and feet before you come, or you might even like to have a warm shower before your massage so you can feel fresh and ready to be oiled up!

  4. Wear something comfortable that you don’t mind getting oily. In cooler months you might want to bring a towel or sarong to keep your head warm after the treatment.

Post-treatment self-care

  1. It is very important to RELAX after these advanced treatments. Avoid busy and stimulating or stressful environments, intense work & push back your workout.

  2. In the cooler months make sure to stay snug and warm!

  3. You have the option to shower at the clinic or keep the product on your skin for about 30 mins to 1 hour and then shower at home.

  4. After 1 hour you might like to have some food. Choose something light, easy to digest and warm. (Dahl, soups, stews, fruit, porridge, veggies, rice, stir-frys…)

  5. Avoid caffeine, alcohol & stimulants & stay hydrated!!!
